Pilot Test – JICA Project (Aiken Kakoki)
The end of the year 2019 PT. Artha Envirotama and Aiken Kakoki Japan conducted a pilot test for the EGSB and Digester design with waste water sample inlet using palm oil mill effluent (POME). The name of the pilot test project is “Feasibility Survey for Treatment System of Highly Concentrated Effluent With Biogas Recovery at Palm Oil Mill in Indonesia”.
This “Feasibility Survey” project is one such project chosen to investigate the feasibility of a waste treatment system provided by Aiken Kakoki K.K to treat palm oil mill effluents (POME) with simultaneous biogas productions in Indonesia. The business potential for these largely untapped resources to produce biogas is very lucrative, hence the interest to conduct the study in Indonesian palm oil mills.
